Fruity architecture- pavilion
The pavilion was designed using the abstract art movement as inspiration. The concept I chose was the Yin and Yang. The elements I chose was water and fire.the material used was acrylic and wire mesh.
The twisted black arches symbolize inner conflict that resides within evil. The orange acrylic symbolizes fire, and is located in the lower half of the structure, in the center, symbolizing the constant war between good and evil.
The wire mesh consists of melted transparent acrylic symbolizing water (purity ) .
The black and transparent arches cross paths at the top, indicating that good and evil are always coinciding with each other, and are complementary, depending on each other for their own existance. The pavilion is lit using white LED lights, in order to highlight the beauty of acrylic, by illuminating it.
